Parenthood looks different for each family, so we have four membership types available to suit different needs.
General Membership
This is the most common membership type and is exactly as it sounds: 1 or 2 years of fun and support. One primary member will have access to the CVPC website, playgroups, and event registrations for themselves and their family. In 2019, the general membership voted to revise our bylaws to allow any parent – regardless of gender – to join as the primary member.

Same as the General Membership above plus your spouse/partner or adult family member receives their own personal access to the CVPC website, playgroups, and event registrations for themselves. For more information about this membership type, please read our FAQs before selecting this option.

Scholarship Membership
We never want cost to be a barrier for parents looking for community and friendship. We offer a limited number of scholarship memberships each year to parents who cannot afford the dues.

Gift Membership
Give the gift of community, friendship, and support to a parent in your life! The perfect unique present at a baby shower or a housewarming party.

Dual Parent Membership FAQs
Do I need to purchase a Dual Parent Membership to attend family events or events which may extend to couples (e.g. Date Night and Learn and Share)?
NO! The General Membership is sufficient if one parent is attending the majority of events themselves and making event registrations on behalf of their family.
Why would I consider selecting a Dual Parent Membership?
This membership type may be a good option for families with two parents who both plan to partake in club activities individually. Your family may include any combination of parents. The additional login may also be utilized by an adult family member such as a grandparent or legal guardian.
Why does it cost more to add my partner? Can’t we just share an account?
You certainly could, but we’d ask you to consider how you plan to use your membership. We fund our events and offerings entirely through membership dues. The small additional charge ($15 for 1 year, or $25 for 2 year memberships) helps us offset the cost of supporting access and benefits for two parents.

A Note about Renewals
Membership renewals activate on the date of existing membership expiration (no penalty for early renewal). This is automatic for active members renewing before expiration.
Former members whose membership has lapsed in the past year can renew through the website; these members will have their membership expiration manually adjusted to reflect a full year (or two) of membership from the date of payment. Please email the Membership Coordinator
